Digital Pathways Joins Forces with Protected-Networks.Com
Data security company Digital Pathways have announced their partnership with leading network management providers Protected-Networks.Com. The partnership will allow Digital Pathways to offer their clients the 8MAN series of products that monitors data access rights.
Heads of IT, across industries, are increasingly becoming concerned with the management of data access rights – the process which manages which users have access to which data - as they face a constant increase in the complexity and number of systems to manage.
“ Not controlling access rights leaves your company’s critical data unprotected, leading to a security risk with real financial and business impacts” says Colin Tankard, Managing Director of Digital Pathways.
“ Some 80-90% of security threats come from within companies due to
employees or contractors having access to the wrong internal information. Companies are aware of external threats but often completely ignore the threat within. This is where 8MAN can help, as it can quickly identify conflicts allowing the business to make changes to ensure compliance with either its own internal rules or more importantly legal regulations,” Tankard adds.
Says Steven Bennett, Head of Channel UK and Nordics of Protected-Networks.Com, “ Our product provides a fully integrated solution with the ability to view, assign, report and document your employee’s access rights. It allows access to the information within seconds. Our 8MAN software provides an intuitive and user-friendly framework to manage the process and ensures that internal data can only be accessed by the right people. Furthermore our solution frees up the active directory administrators time allowing them to focus on more critical aspects of running the server network.
“We are delighted to have joined forces with Digital Pathways, who have an excellent reputation and client base within the UK and Europe.”
